About the event
Join Dr. Eugene Zampieron, ND and Dr. Ellen Kamhi Ph.D., RN for an exciting herbal identification walk and exercise making workshop.
They will take participants on an herb walk to identify medicinal and edible plants through the Gilbertie's property, discussing the folklore and chemistry and traditional uses of herbs.
They will then harvest many herbs and lead a workshop teaching participants to transform the herbs into cough syrups, tinctures, salves and other herbal medicaments.
All participants will be bringing home the medicines they make. Workshop fee is $55.
